Mapmaker Photogrammetric Services was founded in 1999 by Jeffry A. Bean, a native Vermonter with over 24 years of experience in the industry. Located in his hometown of St. Albans, Vt., we remain the only photogrammetric firm in the state. Our goal is to provide the highest quality mapping services available and we work hard to insure that all of our clients are fully satisfied. Relatively low overhead and efficient methods allow us to offer very competitive pricing, and our experienced staff coupled with the latest in mapping technology insures accurate and reliable data.

     Mapmaker currently has three stereoplotters and two CADD stations in operation. We can efficiently handle all but the largest projects in house. Our personnel are knowledgeable, experienced, and dedicated. As a general rule we do not subcontract out any of our data collection work.

     The aerial photography we use is subcontracted, but only to firms that have the same commitment to quality as we do. Mapmaker also does not perform any survey work. We feel that in most cases a survey firm located near the project with knowledge of local conditions can provide the best service. Also, we do not want to compete against some of our best clients.

     Mapmaker's first three years have been extremely successful with a variety of projects completed throughout the Northeast and around the country. Our clients include engineers, surveyors, architects, planners, developers, foresters, and government agencies. Most of them have been and will probably continue to be repeat customers. All of our clients appreciate our sincerity in attempting to provide them with the best service at the best price.
